Brewster H.S. Students Cross-Dress for Schoolmate

At least a dozen students at a suburban New York City high school are cross-dressing to support a sophomore boy who wants to become a girl.

Boys wore skirts and wigs and girls wore caps and cargo pants to Brewster High School in Putnam County.

One senior says the students wanted 17-year-old Michael Loscalzo to feel more comfortable. Loscalzo has been dressing as a girl and says he plans to get a sex-change operation.

He says he's been teased and even punched once because of his appearance.

The school says Loscalzo is free to dress as a girl as long as he follows the dress code.
