BINHAMTON, N.Y. (AP)  --  A jury has convicted a woman and her landlord of sex trafficking and producing child pornography, concluding after 14 hours of deliberations the man had sex with a 12-year-old girl as payment for the woman's back rent.

Attorneys for Linda O'Connor, 46, of Norwich, N.Y. and Dean Sacco, 49, of Jersey City, N.J., said they will appeal. They argued that the girl, now 14, was a manipulator who lied to police and caseworkers.

The girl testified both took pictures and O'Connor sold her for sex with two strangers. Police did not find pornographic images of her on a camera or locate the strangers.

Sacco was convicted Friday of five counts, O'Connor of three.

Both could face life in federal prison.
