Cops Search for Knife-Wielding Elevator Robber

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with three elevator robberies in Brooklyn.

In each of the robberies, a man followed his victim into the elevator of a building located at 390 Sutter Ave. Once inside the elevator, the man displayed a knife and robbed the victims, police said. The robberies occurred on July 26, August 1 and August 21.

No one was harmed in the robberies.

The robbery suspect is described as a black male in his 20s-30s, standing 5'9" tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark NY Yankees baseball cap, a striped yellow Polo shirt and blue jeans with white sneakers.
