ONEIDA, N.Y. (AP/1010 WINS) -- Health officials say a second person has died in Oneida County from complications linked to the H1N1 virus.

County health officials would only identify the individual as an adult with an underlying medical condition that contributed to the death.
In July, an adolescent with an underlying medical condition died at University Hospital in Syracuse.
County health officials say they're also seeing an increase in the number of cases of viral pneumonia, likely resulting from the H1N1 virus.
State health officials say swine flu activity is on the increase. A dozen H1N1-associated deaths were reported in upstate New York between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31.
