Flood Watch Canceled for Tri-State Area

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Rain is on tap for most of the day Friday, according to AccuWeather.

The National Weather Service had issued a flood watch for most of the Tri-State area through Friday evening, but canceled the watch at around 11:30 a.m. The NWS said they no longer anticipate flooding.

Temperatures will remain in the 50's.

The rain should come to an end sometime Friday night and give way to a fairly nice weekend with some sunshine.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 60's on Saturday.
