Prosecutors say the son of the late Gambino crime family boss was involved in murder and mayhem spanning decades. He denies the charges, claiming he quit the mob more than a decade ago.

It's the fourth time Manhattan prosecutors have sought a conviction against the 45-year-old Gotti. Three previous trials ended in hung juries.

If convicted, Gotti faces life in prison.

His father died in prison in 2002.
