NEW YORK (AP)  -- Clifford Wrench is no ordinary centenarian. She drives a car, shops with friends, dances and bakes.

Wrench, who lives alone in the Bronx, will have energy to spare when she celebrates her 103rd birthday on Tuesday.

The party will be held at Soundview Health Center, where "Ma'' Wrench -- as she is affectionately called -- has been a volunteer for the past 30 years.

Soundview's president, Pedro Espada, Jr., calls Wrench "a regular 21st century woman.''
