Jim Maloney walked through the doors of 1010 WINS in April of 1981 (seems like yesterday). He began his career as a desk assistant and worked his way up through the ranks as a writer, reporter and then as editor.
Jim started working morning drive some 12-years ago as a writer and by now, you would think he's used to the crazy hours - but he isn't. The only thing that gets him through the grind: the people he works with, "the best and most talented in the business."
In addition, Jim has worked at ABC Radio Sports and even had a short stint as producer of Howard Cosell's "Speaking of Sports" segments. "That was an experience." Also, he has worked at Fox News Channel and other television outlets as a writer and producer.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jim moved to New Jersey three years ago and when he's not working, he can usually be found on an area golf course with a ten handicap.
