LINK: Diabetes Continues to Rise in NYC

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Almost a quarter of adult New Yorkers are on the verge of receiving a diabetes diagnosis, according to a new study from the city health department.

9% of adult New Yorkers carried the diagnosis in 2007, which was an increase of 13%, or 68,000 cases, since 2002.
