HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) -- A Long Island man charged with stabbing three Tenafly family members to death in their home is back in New Jersey.
Kang-Hyuk Choi of Valley Stream is being held in the Bergen County Jail and faces arraignment Wednesday afternoon.
The 32-year-old Choi was arrested Sunday in Los Angeles, where New Jersey law enforcement say they tracked him down based on evidence kept in the diary of one of his alleged victims.
Choi is charged with stabbing to death his 27-year-old friend Han Il Kim, his friend's 57-year-old mother and another 70-year-old relative of Kim's living in the North Jersey home.
Authorities believe a fight over money led to the stabbing deaths.
