Man Struck by 7 Train in Queens

NEW YORK (AP)  -- A man has been taken to a hospital after being struck by a subway train in Queens.

Authorities say the accident occurred at 7:10 a.m. Monday near the 103rd Street and Roosevelt Avenue station.

NYC Transit says the man was struck by a southbound No. 7 train. The agency says it is not clear how the man wound up on the tracks. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center; his condition is not known.

Service on the No. 7 was suspended in both directions for about 30 minutes.
