NEW YORK (AP) -- Bronx residents will carry pictures of loved ones lost to gun violence as they take to the streets to protest the ease with which weapons can be obtained.
Organizers promise at least 300 people will participate in the third annual Walk Again Gun Violence on Saturday.
The march will begin at 139th Street and Brook Avenue and end at St. Anne's Church at 140th Street and Ann's Avenue in the Bronx, where a rally will be held to remember victims of gun violence.
The march is organized by the Million Mom March of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. Its Bronx president, Gloria Cruz, lost her 10-year-old niece to random gunfire at a Labor Day picnic in 2005.
