Assembly OKs Dogs-On-Home-Insurance Ban

TRENTON, N.J. (AP)  -- Owning a dog in New Jersey may soon have no influence on homeowner's insurance.

Assemblyman Neil Cohen said homeowners with dogs that have been deemed dangerous have seen premiums drastically increase and in some instances have lost coverage entirely.

The Senate can now consider the bill.
