NJ School on Lockdown Following Domestic Incident

RED BANK, NJ (AP)  -- A New Jersey elementary school was on lockdown Wednesday morning following what one official called a "violent incident' that took place on school grounds.

The Red Bank Primary School at 222 River St. was on a precautionary lock down while police investigated the incident that is said to be unrelated to the students, the school's superintendent said.

Police believe a domestic incident occurred between adults, but the details of the exact nature of the confrontation were unclear.
