PATH Trains Running Again

NEW YORK (AP)  -- Officials say PATH trains are running again between 33rd Street and the Journal Square and Hoboken stations after a manhole fire shut down service for much of the last day.

1010 WINS AUdio: John Montone Reports

Service was suspended in both directions around noon Wednesday because of signal and power cable damage from the small fire, which was east of the Christopher Street station. No injuries were reported.

PATH stations at 33rd, 23rd, 14th, Ninth and Christopher streets were closed.
