NEW YORK (AP) -- About 130 Bronx bakery workers who'd been striking since August are back at work. But they've been told the plant will close in October.

A judge had ordered Stella D'oro to reinstate the workers. The company said Monday it can't make a profit without significant union concessions.
Longtime worker John Capalbo was at home patching his roof when he heard the news. He called it "a sad thing.'' Capalbo is nicknamed Johnny Angel Wings -- for the shape of the cookies he makes.
Brynwood Partners, a private investment firm in Greenwich, Conn., bought Stella D'oro from Kraft Foods in 2006. The union is Local 50 of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers.
