NEW YORK (AP) -- A nonprofit is making a pocket-sized map of health services for New York City teens available citywide.
The foldable NYC Teen Health Maps include information on dealing with rape crisis and accessing free or low-cost health care.
The New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault created the maps after survey showed a large number of public high school students reporting physical violence while dating, including rape.
The maps were developed over a three-year period and initially distributed to a handful of schools. They include a subway map on one side and a list of resources on the other side that cater to youth.
