Police: Student Stabbed at Brooklyn School

NEW YORK (AP)  -- New York City officials say a 16-year-old student is in stable condition after he was stabbed at his high school.

Police are interviewing witnesses following the incident on Thursday afternoon.

Education officials say it occurred at the Green School Academy for Environmental Careers, which is located in a building that houses three other schools.

A Department of Education spokeswoman says no other injuries were reported.
