On Monday, police say a 20-year-old male was walking down Carroll Street near Albany Avenue when he got into a verbal confrontation with two other men. The confrontation turned physical when several people jumped out of a black SUV and struck the victim with a wooden object and also maced him, police said.
The victim was taken to Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, in stable condition.
In the second incident, police say a teenage boy was attacked and robbed by two other men on Albany Avenue between Lefferts and Empire Avenue.
Around 1:00 a.m. Monday, the teen told police that he was pushed off of his bicycle, and was beaten and robbed. The boy was taken to Kings County Hospital, and his condition is unknown.
