| Progress at the WTC Site, Steel Columns Installed |
Nearly eight years after the 9/11 terror attacks there are concrete signs that the world Trade Center site is finally making some progress...literally.
The largest steel columns at the core of One World Trade Center have been installed.
The perimeter columns, which are approximately 60-feet long and 70 tons, will allow the initial floors of the tower to be constructed and are the largest to be used to date. The building is set to be finished in 2013. Check out some photos of the column installation below.
