Chihuahua Puppy Left on Side of Henry Hudson Parkway
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A chihuahua puppy might be in need of a home.
Juliet Papa reports:
A jogger found "Mia," who had been left in a pet carrier on the side of the Henry Hudson Parkway near 125th Street Tuesday morning. He called New York Animal Care and Control Center who took her in.
A black plastic bag with dog food, treats and a food and water bowl was also found with the carrier.
Animal rescue says if Mia's owner doesn't come forward she'll be put up for adoption. It's also asking for donations to help out with her care in the meantime.
