NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Rudy Giuliani is willing to do what he can to help the Republican Party raise money for the '08 election - - if the price is right.
Giuliani's aides have told the National Republican Congressional Committee and Congressional candidates that if he makes an appearance at a fund-raiser, he wants the candidates to help him get rid of his presidential campaign debt, according to a report in the New York Times.
It's believed the former mayor's presidential bid ended about $3.6 million in the red.
His demand has irritated some of his Republican colleagues who call the attempted money-grab another burden on the already cash-strapped party, the Times reported.
