Report: Guilty Plea Expected from 'Spitzer Booker'

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- The woman accused of being the main booker in the prostitution ring that serviced former governor Eliot Spitzer is expected to plead guilty on charges related to the ring, sources told the New York Times.

Temeka Rachelle Lewis, 32, would be the first of four defendants in the case to settle.

The other three have been negotiating pleas of their own with Manhattan federal prosecutors, according to court papers.

Lewis, the lead booker for the Emperor’s Club V.I.P., is expected to plead guilty to charges of money laundering conspiracy and conspiracy to commit interstate travel in aid of racketeering, the Times reported.  It's not yet known how much prison time, if any, she would serve.

Spitzer announced his resignation in March, days after reports of the scandal broke. He too could face criminal charges, possibly stemming from transactions to pay for meetings with prostitutes.
