|
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is offering a $12,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a rape suspect.
They say the man is wanted in connection with four incidents in Queens.
On July 8, the suspect sexually assaulted a 23-year-old woman behind a building on Edgewood Avenue in the Laurelton neighborhood, police said.
On July 10, the suspect, armed with a knife, raped a woman behind a building on 137th Street in Locust Manor, police said.
On July 26, the suspect is accused of sexually abusing a woman in the area of Linden and Farmers Boulevards in the St. Albans section, and on July 28, police said he sexually abused a woman he forced from a bus stop on the corner of Sutphin Boulevard and Lakewood Avenue in Jamaica.
The suspect was able to escape capture in each incident, police said, though it's believed he was caught on surveillance video in the St. Albans incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
