Sandi Klein has been working the mid-day/afternoon drive anchor shift since 1993. But along the way to WINS she's been up and down the dial. Her first New York City radio news job was at WKTU-FM, the "big" disco station, where she worked with the likes of Paco and Rosko. She's done morning drive at WYNY (during its soft rock and country music days) and at WPLJ, first with Rocky Allen and then with Scott and Todd. She also hosted a Sunday afternoon radio show called "Arts Alive at the Algonquin," heard on WNYC AM and FM.
Sandi's freelanced at WABC, WOR, WNBC, Z-100, Hot 97, CD-101.9 and the UPI Radio Network.
WINS is the longest full-time job Sandi's ever held, and because she's so shocked and grateful she brings in a 24 ounce bag of pretzels every day for the news room staff to eat.
