NEW JERSEY (1010 WINS) -- A student is under arrest after being charged with making threats that led to the lockdown of his high school in northern New Jersey.
Authorities say the 15-year-old sophomore from West Essex Regional High School is being evaluated at a hospital.
Police seized pellet guns and ammunition from his home. He was charged with causing false public alarm, a weapons offense, risking widespread injury and marijuana possession.
The school in North Caldwell was locked down for two hours March 11 after officials found threatening graffiti on school property.
The school serves about 800 students from Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell and Roseland.
