TRENTON, N.J. (AP)  -- A Trenton, N.J. police officer has been suspended after his arrest on official misconduct and distribution of a prescription drug charges.

Officials say Nicholas A. Fratticcioli was arrested Wednesday night at the city's Police Headquarters. The 24-year-old Hamilton resident is accused of distributing more than 100 doses of muscle relaxants.

Fratticcioli, who graduated from the Trenton Police Academy last August, was suspended without pay. He has posted his $25,000 bail and was expected to be released sometime Friday afternoon.

There was no phone listing for Fratticcioli, and it was not known if he had retained a lawyer.
