NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Hockey fans, grab a shopping cart.
The National Hockey League has opened a store _ and it's not in Toronto or Detroit _ it's in Manhattan on 6th Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets.
The store, which is a joint venture between the NHL and Reebok, gives die-hard fans a place to find everything hockey _ from jerseys and skates to t-shirts and hats.
The store had its grand opening, Friday, and lines apparently stretched down the block.
Some of the features of the NHL Store include an "ice wall" where customers can leave a message or their initials, a hockey themed Starbucks and a sculpture made of 400 hockey sticks.
The store is also equipped with several high-definition video screens, so fans can catch all the hockey action on a nightly basis.
