Man Falls Onto Elevated Tracks Then to Ground



NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Subway service on the "7" line was suspended early Monday morning after a man fell onto the elevated tracks and then onto the ground below.

The accident happened after midnight at the Junction Boulevard Station in Queens.

Police said the man tried to pull himself onto the platform after the fall and that is when he fell between the tracks and onto Roosevelt Avenue.

The man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and at last report was in stable but serious condition.
