It's snowing in the New York metro region.
The winter storm is expected to continue throughout the day into tomorrow. Sleet and freezing rain are possible.
The National Weather Service estimates that about one to two inches of snow are possible today.

Up to an inch is expected in the five boroughs and Long Island, one to three inches for the Northern suburbs.
Forecasters are predicting freezing rain by Sunday evening and are urging drivers to be careful of slick, dangerous roads.
AccuWeather says as the storm begins to intensify off of the coast, the snow and ice will move over upstate New York and New England Sunday night. Northern New England will bear the brunt of the storm's fury on Monday as heavy snow comes down.
New Jersey is also bracing for some nasty winter weather.
A mix of rain, sleet and snow is expected to fall across the region. And that could make travel hazardous in some spots.
Anywhere from a coating to three inches of snow could fall in the area, with some sleet mixing in before it changes to rain sometime in the early afternoon.

New Jersey Bracing for Mix of Rain, Sleet and Snow
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) New Jersey is bracing for some nasty winter weather.
A mix of rain, sleet and snow is expected to fall across the region today. And that could make travel hazardous in some spots, especially in the morning hours.
Forecasters say two to four inches of snow could fall in Sussex County before the precipitation changes over to freezing rain, sleet and rain.
And most other northern and central areas will be under a winter weather advisory for most of today.
Anywhere from a coating to three inches of snow could fall in those areas, with some sleet mixing in before it changes to rain sometime in the early afternoon.
