NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NBA Players Association, Abyssinian Development Corporation and Feed The Children organizations joined together Thursday to feed thousands of New York City families.
The annual event held at The Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem will provide boxes of food and personal care items to 10,000 needy families.
Lines formed at 138th Street and Seventh Avenue and in the surrounding neighborhood starting at 7 a.m. and will continue until about 6 p.m. Thursday.
In addition to the players from the Knicks, Nets, Bulls and Lakers, 600 volunteers will help distribute the boxes.
