NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- He ran a stop sign, got into an altercation with another driver and was smoking marijuana. The worst part of it all, he did it with his three-month-old daughter in the back seat.
Police say 28-year-old Alexander Sepulveda of Elmont, was driving on Linden Place in Hempstead when he pulled over and got into a fight with another driver. He then got back into his 2004 Nissan and drove through a stop sign on Linden Avenue.
Nassau County detectives pulled Sepulveda over and noticed the odor of marijuana in his car. After searching the car, they found the young infant in her car seat in the back seat. The detectives also found four bags of the illegal drug and three partially smoked marijuana cigarettes
Sepulveda was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of marijuana fifth degree. Police gave custody of the baby to her mother.
