Welcome to your first step in joining the 1010 WINS Text Alert Network. This 24-hour service will provide text messages to your cell phone, PDA, Blackberry and similar devices. We hope this news product will keep our 1010 WINS users in touch when they are away from their radio or computer.

Large-scale utility outages
Critical news events
Public safety messages
Amber alerts
Important weather announcements
Terror alert changes
The text alert message will be sent when an event reaches a certain threshold determined by the 1010 WINS newsroom.
