NEW YORK (AP) -- Metro-North says commuters gave the railroad high marks in 2007.
The Metro-North annual customer satisfaction survey indicates that customers' overall satisfaction with the railroad rose for the third straight year to 93 percent, up one point from 2006.
Metro-North cited an on-time performance level of 97.7 percent systemwide from January through August as one of the reasons customer satisfaction was up in 2007. It also cited the introduction of new and rehabilitated rail.
