Man Arrested in Fatal Stabbing of Brooklyn Woman

NEW YORK (AP) -- A 35-year-old man has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of a Brooklyn woman.

Police say the Brooklyn man is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Bernadette Aikens, 47.

She was found outdoors Saturday with stab wounds to her neck and head.

She was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.

Investigators haven't said why they believe the suspect stabbed Aikens.
