Pizza Place Robbed, Torched in West Caldwell

WEST CALDWELL, N.J. (AP/1010 WINS) -- Police in West Caldwell found more than a fire when they answered an alarm at a pizzeria.
They found the owner.
The man had been beaten, robbed and left tied up. Then the robbers set Franco's Ristorante and Pizzeria on fire.
The alarm went off shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday.
Police got the owner out, and he was treated at a hospital. Firefighters got the fire under control in a half hour.
The owner says he had closed and was cleaning up when he was accosted by four men.
