NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- It’s a tough decision for any parent faced with choosing a daycare. There are numerous daycare choices people can make, but how do you make the choice that’s right for your child?
The big thing I suggest is that you find a daycare which is open. One which you can come in and see your child at any time and, in particular, during unscheduled times. You want the caregivers to know that parents can come by at any time.
Also, check and see certification. Find out who’s working there. Are these people you can depend on?
Most importantly, get to know other parents who have children there. The more you do that, the better you understand the environment that your child’s in and how to deal with it.
Take time and do proper research. The stakes can’t get any higher.
