PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- A man accused of killing a man and raping his companion after carjacking them outside a Philadelphia nightclub is in custody.
Police say 26-year-old Omar Sharif Cash is suspected of the killing Sunday and another last month. They say he was captured in New York City this week.
Authorities believe Cash shot 19-year-old Muliek Brown on April 21 at a Philadelphia car wash.
And they say he carjacked 32-year-old Edgar Rosas-Gutierrez early Sunday before killing him in Bensalem and raping his companion at a motel in Lawrenceville, N.J.
It is not immediately clear whether Cash has hired a lawyer.
