Two 20-Year-Olds Charged in Killing of N.J. Gas Attendant

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP)  -- Police have charged two 20-year-old men with killing a gas station attendant during a robbery attempt last month.

Authorities say Terrance Clemons, who was arrested early Thursday, shot Abdur Rahman with a handgun at the U.S. Gas station in Westampton on April 14. They say that Jerome Faucett, who was arrested later Thursday, helped plan the robbery and went along with Raham.

Both Burlington Township men are charged with murder.

Clemons also faces charges in a second violent incident against a service worker. He was charged last year with robbing, then beating a cab driver in Deptford in 2006.

Authorities are looking into whether the men might have been involved in other robberies. They're both being held on bail of $750,000.

The victim was a 50-year-old who sent money to his wife and six children in Bangladesh.
