Winter Weather Causing Some Airport Delays
NEW YORK -- The three major airports in the New York metro area have had minor problems because of the weather. Port Authority spokesman Pasquale DiFulco says delays have ranged from 15 minutes to one hour at La Guardia, John F. Kennedy and Newark Liberty airports.Click here to check airport delays nationwide. DiFulco says dozens of flights have been canceled. But people apparently called their airlines before coming to the airport. However about 40 people had to spend the night at the airports - mostly because their connecting flight was cancelled when they landed in New York. Traffic at the Port Authority bridges and tunnels was moving at reduced speeds this morning with no closings reported. PATH is operating normally.Related Link: Port Authority Airport Info
