Cops: LI Doctor Put Hidden Camera in Restroom

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/AP)  -- A Long Island doctor is accused of installing a hidden camera in the bathroom of his medical office.

1010 WINS AUDIO: Kathleen Maloney reports

Nassau County police say 54-year-old Vincent Pacienza of North Hills, was arrested Friday and charged with unlawful surveillance.

The doctor's staff discovered the camera, which had been concealed inside an air purifier shipped from a spy store and notified police.

The camera had been set up for a panoramic view of the restroom of the Manhasset medical office within the last two weeks, police said.

Pacienza was arraigned Saturday afternoon and was released after posting $2,500 cash bail.
