LI Man Accused of Videotaping Women's Private Parts

BALDWIN, N.Y. (1010 WINS)  -- A 52-year-old Long Island man has been arrested on charges of videotaping women's private body parts as they shopped at a dollar store.

Nassau County police say Mario Molina, of 51 Dawes Avenue in Roosevelt, followed unsuspecting women around the Dollar Tree convenience store on Grand Avenue in Baldwin and placed a camcorder under their clothing.

Police say he followed one 32-year-old woman and her two children for about 10 minutes while holding the camcorder.

Police say the victim, fearing for her safety and that of her kids, called 911.

Officers arrived at the scene after 8 p.m Friday and confiscated the man's video camera.

An investigation found that Molina had been following other women at the store.

He's charged with felony unlawful surveillance.
