NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- One person was killed and six others were injured when a bus crashed into a building in Chinatown Monday morning, fire officials said.

A dump truck rear-ended a Fung Wah bus, which then plowed into a bank at the corner of Bowery and Canal streets, officials said.
The 57-year-old woman who was killed was a pedestrian, officials said.
The truck driver was injured and he is in critical but stable condition at Bellevue Hospital, officials said.
Two passengers and three pedestrians sustained minor injuries, officials said.
The truck was coming off the Manhattan Bridge, officials said, when it hit the bus. The bus was carrying passengers to Boston.
