6 Shot, 1 Dead in Separate Brooklyn Shootings

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  --  Six people have been in shot in two separate shooting in Brooklyn overnight.

A 15-year-old boy was shot to death and two other teens were wounded by gunfire shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday in back of a building on Boyland Street in the Brownsville section.

Police say the teen was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the torso and taken to Brookdale Hospital.

Another 15-year-old boy was shot in the arm and walked to Brookdale on his own.

Just before 2 a.m. in Flatbush, three people were shot just at 57 St Paul's Place near Crooke Avenue.

Police say a woman was shot in the leg and a man was shot in the arm were in stable condition and likely to recover. A third person, male, was shot in the stomach; his condition was unclear. All three victims were taken to King's County Hospital.

None of the victims in the shootings were immediately identified.

Police are investigating.
