NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A one-legged hooker was killed in Brooklyn Thursday, police said.
A john hit Elizabeth Acevedo, 38, over the head with a heavy object which caused her to fall out of her wheelchair and slam her head against the wall, police said.
She was found lying unconscious on the floor of a hallway on the 13th floor of a building in the Wyckoff Gardens houses in Boerum Hill. She died Friday morning after being removed from life support at Long Island College Hospital.
Acevedo lost her leg in a train accident and wore a prosthetic leg, the New York Post reported.
Police were still looking for her killer.
