Bones of Elderly Woman Found in Her Bronx Home

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- About four years ago, Florence Bock went missing. But she may have been at her home the entire time.

A pile of bones, including a skull, were found lying next to a cane on Friday by a cleaning crew sent to the 83-year-old woman's Bronx home, police said.

The house was purchased recently by a developer after the missing woman was declared dead, police said.

The city medical examiner's office did not have a positive identification on the remains, and the cause of death was listed as undetermined, said spokeswoman Ellen Borakove. She said anthropologists would review the bones.
