Man's Body Found in Westchester Woods

GREENBURGH, N.Y. (AP/1010 WINS)  -- Police are looking for whomever killed a man and dumped his body in the woods in a suburb of New York City.

Juliet Papa reports

Police say the body was spotted Sunday night by motorists in the Westchester town of Greenburgh, not far from the Scarsdale line.

The body was found just off Central Park Avenue and Inverness Road.

Greenburgh police responded to the scene and found the victim -- who they identified as either a black or Hispanic male -- wearing a white Rugby shirt and blue jeans.

The victim's hands were tied behind his back and he suffered a gunshot wound to the neck, police said.
