Cops Search For Queens Rapist - SKETCH

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Police in Queens were searching for a suspect Friday they believe raped at least two women in the last month.

John Montone reports.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

Police say the suspect follows the victims into their buildings, once inside he chokes them until they are rendered unconscious and then sexually assaults them.

The latest attack occurred Monday night just before midnight near the intersection of 31st Avenue and 29th Street in Astoria.

Police believe the same man attacked another woman on October 1st, in Corona, near 50th Avenue and 91st Street.

The man (pictured above) is described as an African-American, 25-to-30 years old, six-feet-tall, 170 pounds and wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt.
