Suspected Subway Licker Arrested in Manhattan

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- A 23-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested on Friday after allegedly licking the feet and legs of about 70 women on the subway.

Joseph Weir was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court Friday night.  He was charged with forceable touching and unlawful imprisonment.

Weir apparently has done this before.  Cops say he admitted to abusing female straphangers in the past three years, after they busted him Thursday for allegedly violating a woman on the E-train.

The police put him in a line-up where he was identified by at least eight women.

A police source had stated that he would grab the womens ankles, and then proceed to lick and kiss their feet.

Jeranda Weir, Joseph's mother describes him as a hardworking man.

Weir is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail, with a hearing pending on May 10th.
