No Takers for Naming Rights to NJ Man's Jets Seats

FAIRLAWN, N.J. (AP)  -- A Fairlawn New Jersey man makes an offer to sell the naming rights to his New York Jets seats - and so far no takers- is it the economy or the idea?

Alice Stockton-Rossini reports.

The long time sports and entertainment marketing man is offering to sell naming rights to his 2 Jets seats for $ 15 thousand each, however the season tickets to the seats are not included in the deal.

Among the goodies that are offered in his naming rights package: your company name on his seats,  your company's ad on one of his 80-foot hot air balloons, radio and newspaper ads,  promos at festivals he produces -- and if he's not using the tickets -- you get right of first refusal.

He made the offer to much hoopla in September and now no takers, but he's not giving up hope.

"The offer is for the 2010 season, I've got time," he said.
